Pace Rotary recognizes area teachers

Santa Rosa County School Superintendent Tim Wyrosdick joins local school administrators and recipients of Teacher of the Year awards at Pace Rotary’s annual Teacher Appreciation Breakfast. [Special to the Press Gazette]

PACE— Pace Rotary’s April 18 meeting featured Santa Rosa School Superintendent Tim Wyrosdick, who helped recognize educators for their annual Teacher Appreciation Breakfast.

Wyrosdick, along with principals from 10 Pace area schools, introduced honorees by sharing details of their commitments to education. Pace Rotary presented each teacher with a small gift and a Visa gift card.  

The awards presentation for middle school SGA members who have excelled in community service was also held at the meeting. The two recognized students were nominated by their advisers at Sims Middle School and Avalon Middle School for their outstanding achievements in service to their community and school. Pace Rotary presented each student with a certificate and Visa gift card. 

Pace Rotary meetings are set 7 a.m. Thursdays at Stonebrook Golf Club, 3200 Cobblestone Drive, Pace.
