Santa Rosa's Day of Service needs projects, sponsors

MILTON — SAFER Santa Rosa, in partnership with Santa Rosa County, is planning its May 6 Day of Service. There is still time to register as a volunteer, sponsor or submit a project for consideration at www.santarosa.fl.gov/dayofservice.

Only representatives of organizations may submit projects. Organizations will be matched with any necessary resources; for example, a small business might submit a road clean-up project but need more labor, or a service group might submit a ramp-build project but need materials. 

Individuals and teams of volunteers may register online to be paired with projects.

SAFER's gold sponsor is Santa Rosa County Federal Credit Union. Sponsors for both materials and monetary donations are necessary to fund more resource-intensive projects.

Gold ($1,000) Sponsor
