PACE— To celebrate National Dance Week, Coast 2 Coast: Dance Across America embarked on its Fourth Annual National Tour with one goal: to motivate youths and adults to never give up.
The group is traveling from New York to Los Angeles in 14 days, visiting over 21 dance studios, and completing all 48 continental states. The crew made a stop on April 23 at The P.A.C.E. Studio. The event was free to all students who participated.
"This is more than just an average dance class," Jimmy Lyles, executive director of Coast 2 Coast: Dance Across America, said. "Our unique Master Class Tour focuses on giving the (youths) of America the tools and motivation to change the world we are living in.
"Our mission is to promote the health and fitness side of dance while encompassing the ideals of persistence, perseverance, passion and positivity. We prove that ordinary people can achieve extraordinary things. Students learn that no dream is too large or small — you can do absolutely anything you set your mind to, as long as you work hard."
