The internet is down…if you didn't notice

MILTON — Are you a customer of Mediacom internet and cable services? Are you having trouble with internet in your area right now? Well, you are not alone.  

The internet is down for Mediacom customers in Florida, Alabama, and Georgia due to a main fiber line being cut, according to a service representative.

“We do not have a time frame for when the service will be restored,” the representative said. “Right now, it is an open-ended outage.”

According to the company, Georgia had a similar outage in the past and the outage did not last more than 24 hours. Mediacom apologizes to its customers for the inconvenience and says it is working diligently to restore service as soon as possible.
