‘How to do Business with Santa Rosa County’ workshop scheduled

PENSACOLA — The Florida Small Business Development Center at University of West Florida Government Contracting Services will offer a workshop titled “How to do Business with Santa Rosa County.”

The event is set 9-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 10 at the Santa Rosa County Economic Development Office in Milton. James Walters, SRC procurement officer, is the speaker.

Attendees can learn how to register as a vendor, the latest procurement rules and how to locate bid opportunities. There is no cost to attend, but pre-registration is recommended.  Call 474-2528 or see www.sbdc.uwf.edu and click “Training Opportunities” to register.

The Florida SBDC at UWF Government Contracting Services is funded through federal and state agencies to provide counseling and technical assistance to Florida firms interested in local, state and federal markets.
