PACE — Attorney Matthew Hargraves will speak to the Santa Rosa County Tea Party Patriots and anyone else interested.
The meeting is 6 p.m. May 8 at Woodbine United Methodist Church, 5200 Woodbine Road, Pace.
Hargraves has been a practicing attorney in Santa Rosa County for the past 10 years and is the general counsel for Santa Rosa Professional Educators, the local union for Santa Rosa County teachers and educational support professionals. He will speak on the history of this group and their recent stand to disaffiliate from the state and national teachers unions.
SRPE faces a battle with the state and federal unions, which want to retake control of the collective bargaining on behalf of Santa Rosa County educators.
