More like the Milton Comedy Central Council

Dear editor,

Milton has not come a long way anytime soon. Nothing much has changed, not even bigotry. 

However, if you are ever in for a laugh, head on over to one of the finer things in life in Santa Rosa County: a Milton City Council meeting. There you will have a chance to really see how your money is spent. 

Also, you will find the leaders of tomorrow missing in action that day. It seems as if they do transfigurations amongst themselves. They tend to track off of the business part to air out personal matters and, when they do, they become the 'Milton Comedy Central Council' … 

It’s all about the people and not y’all, but one should visit this place at least once. You may be told, “Hey, take ya shoes off and y’all come back now. Ya hear?”

Just when you thought Trump-ah-hump America was hitting and missing, the attack on the city manager was at hand and all Hell broke loose, and the need for control was not at hand, not even from a gavel. 

The operator was in a daze, name-slinging had reached its peak and some denial had set in. 

"I did not," and "you did," had come into view and guilt had walked out, never to return. But any leadership that isn’t mindful of God and the people they are to represent is not worthy to be a leader. 

Please pray for our leaders.
