GULF BREEZE — Pediatrician Dr. Jessica Tate has joined Sacred Heart Medical Group’s regional network of physicians and is accepting new patients at Sacred Heart Pediatrics at Gulf Breeze.
Tate graduated magna cum laude, with her bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry, from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. She received her medical degree from East Tennessee State University, where she received the faculty-selected Kevin Swabe Award.
Tate completed her residency training at the University of Florida’s pediatric residency program at Sacred Heart Health System, where she received the peer-selected Thomas Jenkins Residency Education Award, became program delegate to the American Academy of Pediatrics and served as chair of the program evaluation committee.
Tate is a certified pharmacy technician and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. During her residency, she performed research on safe car seat use. She has special interests in newborn care, childhood safety and helping children and families develop healthy habits.
Tate joins the office of pediatricians Dr. Robin Renfroe and Dr. Brandy Boutin. Sacred Heart Medical Group Pediatrics at Gulf Breeze is located at 204 Center Road.
Later this year, the practice will relocate to the new Sacred Heart Pediatric Care Center, an 8,000-square-foot facility under construction at the corner of Gulf Breeze Parkway and Daniel Street in Gulf Breeze.
In addition to the physicians’ office, the Pediatric Care Center will include diagnostic services, outpatient pediatric rehabilitation and Autism Center outreach.
