Navarre alums graduate from basic military training

MILTON — Air Force Airman Justin H. Shellenbarger and Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Miguel A. Villanueva graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airmen completed eight weeks' training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Basic training graduates earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Shellenbarger is the son of Scott H. and Deanne M. Shellenbarger, and brother of Hayden T. Shellenbarger, all of Navarre. He is a 2016 graduate of Navarre High School.

Villanueva is the son of Raquel E. and Miguel A. Villanueva of Navarre. He is a 2013 graduate of Navarre High School.
