Navarre Sports Complex playground closed for repairs

The Navarre Sports Complex playground, 8840 High School Blvd. in Navarre, will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, May 23-24 while repairs are made to the playground safety surface.

The playground is scheduled to reopen Thursday, May 25. Signs notifying the public of the closure will be posted.

Baptist Health Care schedules blood drive  

Baptist Health Care is hosting a blood drive provided by One Blood. The event is set noon to 4 p.m. May 24 at Gulf Breeze Hospital, 1110 Gulf Breeze Parkway in Gulf Breeze.

Donors must be age 16 or older, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. Photo identification is required, and all donors will receive a gift.
