Milton High threat under investigation

MILTON —Milton High School is keeping a student at home today following threats made to the school. The Santa Rosa Sheriff's Office would not release the student’s name.

Tuesday morning, the Press Gazette received a tip about a possible threat to Milton High School. The Santa Rosa Sheriff's Office was already investigating.

“There was a kid that made some threats. It was nothing credible, nothing unusual. He’s being kept from school today,” Public Information Officer Rich Aloy said. 

Aloy confirmed the threat came through Facebook but could not say what the specific nature of the threat was as the investigation is still underway.
