NAVARRE — Sacred Heart Medical Group has opened a new clinic at the Walgreens location at 8220 Navarre Parkway in Navarre.
The clinic is part of the agreement announced earlier this year to have Sacred Heart operate and provide all clinical services at four retail health clinics located at Walgreens stores in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.
“Sacred Heart Medical Group’s collaboration with Walgreens fulfills our commitment to providing more care to more people, more conveniently,” said Susan Davis, president and CEO of Sacred Heart Health System.
The Sacred Heart Clinic at Walgreens in Navarre will give patients access to a variety of health-care services without an appointment, seven days a week, including evenings.
Board-certified nurse practitioners will provide care for common minor illnesses and injuries.
This is the third opening of a Sacred Heart Clinic at Walgreens. Other locations are at 9th Avenue and Langley in Pensacola, and 2337 W. Nine Mile Road in Pensacola.
The fourth clinic is scheduled to open in June at the Walgreens at 3909 Highway 90, Pace.
