MILTON — The Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners recognized National Emergency Medical Services Week, May 21-27, and presented the men and women of Lifeguard Ambulance Service with a proclamation to ensure their contributions in safeguarding our county's health, safety and well-being are known.
Lifeguard Ambulance Service has provided unsubsidized EMS for Santa Rosa County since August 2007. Emergency medical responders save lives by providing both basic and advanced medical care at the scene of an emergency and en route to a hospital.
They show compassion to their patients in their most difficult moments.
