Beware of egg on the windsheld

[Pixabay.com]

Dear editor,

Be careful! (Recently,) on the way home, my daughter was following me on Highway 87 close to the Piggly Wiggly area. I was on the phone with her and heard a thump.

She immediately asked me what I had thrown out the window. I told her I hadn't thrown anything. She said, “Well, then it must have flown off the back of your truck cause something just hit my windshield.” (Nothing was in my truck that could have flown out).

She turned on her windshield wipers to make it go away and it smeared bad. I told her to roll down her window and drive out the window cause we were almost to the gas station.

We pulled in and realized it was egg. Someone had thrown an egg on her car randomly.

This got us thinking about that story about people throwing eggs, causing you to turn on your windshield wipers so that you can see. This makes your window so smeared that you can't see so you pull over and clean your window, only to be attacked.

Once we realized that it was egg, I called the police just to report it (in case it kept happening).

This may have just been a random act of someone being a jerk, but, just in case it wasn't, we wanted to make sure to get the word out since it happened here!

Be careful people, this kind of stuff is getting worse and worse.
