Dear editor,
The idealistic thought of Democrat socialism is where everyone contributes, and then everyone benefits equally—a doctor earns as much as a trash man—from those contributions within that society.
But in today's reality, is everyone that is receiving handout benefits actually contributing? No! When asked to contribute, what is their reply? No!
The true definition for "socialism" is "a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community—also known as government—as a whole".
The next definition states; "(But in Marxist theory) it is a transitional social state between the overthrow of capitalism and the realization of communism."
The definition of communism is "a political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly (government) owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs."
Have and are Democrats advocating for class warfare? Yes!
In the capitalist system, isn't each person already being paid according to their abilities and even paid more? Yes!
But in socialism or communism, who determines their abilities and needs? Those in government who also determine their own wealth, not the individual also known as "We the People!"
What event caused the largest communist nation in the world to move toward capitalism? The return of the largest Asian financial market being the capitalist system of Hong Kong from Britain after its 99-year lease ended in 1997 with China.
China's own embrace of capitalism has now made China the second largest economic system in the world in less than twenty years!
What is it that China now knows that socialist Democrats don't by embracing socialism that takes the decisions of upward economic mobility out of the hands of "We the People" for government to now pick winners and losers.
Socialist Democrats are doing this today with social pressure to boycott businesses trying to pick winners and losers amongst "We the People" based on indications of how you may vote!
