MILTON — Here is a list of scheduled faith-based services and events. 

UPCOMING

FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF PACE: These events take place at 4540 Chumuckla Highway, Pace, unless otherwise noted:

  • Saturday, July 8: United Methodist Men monthly meeting and breakfast, 8 a.m.
  • Sunday, July 9: 9 a.m. Sunday school, 9:45 a.m. coffee fellowship; and 10:10 a.m. worship. Welcome new pastor, the Rev. Mark Lilly, and family. Welcome picnic follows morning services with hamburgers and hot dogs and condiments provided. Bring your favorite side dish or dessert.
  • Monday, July 10: All American Twirlers, 5:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, July 11: 6:30 a.m. Men of Purpose Bible Study; AA meeting — gym classroom
  • Wednesday, July 12:7:30 p.m. choir practice; Christmas Cantata rehearsals continue
  • Thursday, July 13: All American Twirlers, 5:30 p.m. Men’s Barn meeting — meet at church at 5:45 p.m. to travel to Molino. Finance meeting, 6 p.m. in conference room
  • Saturday, July 15: 11 a.m. Megan’s Love, a ministry to Pensacola’s homeless.

RECURRING

FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF MILTON: Worship services are 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sundays. Wednesday Friends begins at 6:15 p.m. Details: 623-6683.

FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF MILTON: Worship services are 9 a.m. Sundays, followed by a coffee social at 10 a.m. and Sunday school at 10:30 a.m. at 5203 Elmira St., Milton. FPC Milton's Open Hearts Ministry, a Bible study group for adults with special needs, meets 6 p.m. Wednesdays.

DESTINY BIBLE CHURCH: Worship service is 10 a.m. Sundays. Wednesday Bible Study is 7 p.m. at 4867 W. Spencer Field Road, Pace.

PLEASANT GROVE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH: Events include 10 a.m. Sunday school, 11 a.m. worship service, 6 p.m. men’s and women’s studies and 7 p.m. worship service. Wednesday night Building Tomorrow’s Church meetings are at 7 p.m. The church is located at 11130 Highway 87 N., Milton.

MILTON FIRST ASSEMBLY OF GOD: Worship 10:30 a.m. Sundays and 7 p.m. Wednesdays at 6163 Dogwood Drive, Milton. Details: 623-2854.

BAGDAD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH: 8 a.m. contemporary worship service, 10 a.m. traditional worship service at 4540 Forsyth St., Bagdad.
