PACE — With construction officially underway, the first Zaxby’s in Pace is coming soon to 4700 Highway 90. A fan favorite for chicken fingers and wings, the new fast-casual restaurant is scheduled to open in spring.

This location will be the fifth for Carter Brown and Stuart Brown.

“I am very familiar with the area and jumped on the opportunity to be part of Pace’s tremendous growth,” said Carter Brown. “In addition to providing locals with a new dining option, I am excited to create more than 40 new jobs and look forward to establishing long-term partnerships with local organizations.”

With seating for 90, the new 3,200-square-foot location will reflect the Zaxby’s farmhouse design. Highlighting the brand’s commitment to its guests’ overall dining experience, the layout offers guests a high-end, fast-casual experience, with redesigned exteriors, dining areas and kitchens.

Additionally, the variety of seating options accommodates a range of group sizes, and Wi-Fi keeps guests connected.

“We’re currently seeking a team of more than 40 members from the Pace community,” said Stuart Brown. “Our goal is to help residents grow in their careers with us through some of our great employee incentives.” Interested candidates can apply at the Creighton Road location.

The new Zaxby’s in Pace will be the second in Santa Rosa County.

Zaxby’s currently operates in 17 states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia.
