MILTON — U.S. Army and Navy veteran Tommy Thurman and his wife, Linda, have an annual tradition of decorating their yard in American and military themes.

They do so to honor American troops and veterans.

The Thurmans have kept the tradition since 2004. Tommy dedicates his house’s décor to the past, present and future veterans, he said.

Correction

An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated Tommy Thurman is a World War II veteran. Thurman did serve in the U.S. Army and Navy but not in World War II.
