Milton Rotary donates backpacks, learns about Pregnancy Resource Center

Members of the Milton Rotary Club are shown with backpacks and other school supplies the club collected for the Cram the Van project. Each year the club collects school supplies and gives them to the United Way of Santa Rosa County. “We are proud to be able to assist those in the community that need help getting the right school supplies to make their school year a success!” a club spokesperson said. MILTON — The Milton Rotary Club recently received a visit from Cindy Roberts, who is with the Pregnancy Resource Center of Milton.

The center is a non-profit volunteer organization that works with other agencies to meet the mother’s, father’s and child’s physical and emotional needs.

They offer prenatal classes and advise on parenting, nutrition and child safety issues. They also have a baby store that provides free items from the “earn while you learn” program with “baby bucks.”

They recently started offering free ultrasounds for women in their first and second trimesters.
