3 things to do this weekend in Santa Rosa County

1. LISTEN TO CLASSIC ROCK. The Imogene Theatre will present Denny Laine 6:30-10 p.m. Sept. 23 at 6866 Caroline St., in Milton. Laine is a multiple Grammy award-winning artist and founding member of The Moody Blues and Wings with Paul McCartney. He has also performed with The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Cream, ELO, The Zombies, and many more. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and show is at 7 p.m. Online advance tickets are $15 and tickets are $20 at the door. 2. LEARN HISTORY. Arcadia Mill will host, "Sawmills and Skirmishes: Civil War Tour of Arcadia Mill" on Sept. 23 at 5709 Mill Pond Lane in Milton. Tour times are 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Costumed guides will lead the tour. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Arcadia Mill visitors center. Tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for children ages 3-14. Contact Arcadia Mill at 623-3084 for more information.

3. ENJOY LOCAL MUSIC. Bands on the Blackwater returns 7-9 p.m. Sept. 22 on South Willing Street. The outdoor concert series, held Friday nights in downtown Milton, is free to attend. You can pull up a boat or bring a lawn chair and relax while listening to music. This week’s featured band is Moderate Chop.
