PENSACOLA — Consul General of Japan in Miami Ken Okaniwa will make a diplomatic visit to Pensacola Oct. 6 and 7.
Oct. 6, he will meet with Pensacola Mayor Ashton Hayward. Later that morning, he is scheduled to do a live broadcast on Business Radio X to discuss economic and political issues.
He will also meet with regional economic development leaders in Northwest Florida to discuss the upcoming Japan External Trade Organization Florida-Japan Aerospace and Aviation Summit.
Oct. 7, Okaniwa will participate as a keynote speaker un the Japan U.S. Military Program at Naval Air Station Pensacola.
