![Murphy (ID #A097863) is a 4-year-old neutered black and tan hound mix who weighs 70.4 pounds. He came to the shelter as a stray on Sept. 27. Murphy is heartworm negative and has been given his heartworm preventive medicine. He has also been dewormed and given his booster shot. All he needs is a rabies shot, which the new owner should have completed within three days at his or her vet's office. Murphy walks well on a leash, likes to be brushed, is really laid back, and shelter staffers think he is probably housetrained.
