PENSACOLA — A seminar will focus on the importance of caregivers caring for themselves.
The event is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 19 at the Bayview Senior Center, 2000 Lloyd St. in Pensacola. The guest speaker will be Maryann Makekau, author of “When Your Grandma Forgets.”
The Northwest Florida Area Agency on Aging Inc. Aging and Disability Resource Center in partnership with the American Association of Retired Persons will present the 3rd Annual Empowering Caregivers Seminar, which is is free with limited seating and lunch. Attendees must RSVP by Oct. 16.
