GULF BREEZE — Bar Strength & Conditioning LLC of Milton was well represented during the recent King of the Beach powerlifting meet.
The event was to be held at Bamboo Willies on Pensacola Beach. However, it moved to Chip’s 24 Hour Health & Racquet Club in Gulf Breeze due to Hurricane Nate.
Bar Strength & Conditioning had a number of participating athletes.
Among them were Barbara Klein, first in bench only; Lindsay Duerson, first 165 pounds, open weight class; Lauren Cabrera, first 148 pounds, open weight class and overall best deadlift, 360 pounds pull; Gustabo Munoz, first HWT, open weight class and first deadlift only with a 790-pound pull; Gary Brewer, first 275 pounds, open weight class and best deadlift with a 765-pound pull, along with King of the Beach, winning his 275-pound weight class and having the best deadlift at 765 pounds; and Joshua Davis, first 242 pounds-open weight class.
