Gulf Breeze, Pace alums complete basic military training

U.S. Air Force Airman Chase G. Macarthy

MILTON — Air Force Airman Chase G. Macarthy and U.S. Air Force Airman Nylaah K. Brown graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airmen completed eight weeks' training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Basic training graduates earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Macarthy, a 2017 Pace High School graduate, is the son of Rhonda Mayne of Pace.

Brown, a 2017 graduate of Gulf Breeze High School, is the daughter of Corona Deas of Gulf Breeze and Leonard Brown of Pensacola, step-daughter of J.D. Wells of Gulf Breeze, granddaughter of Corine Sinclair of Pensacola and Gloria Black of Gulf Breeze. She is the sister of Tyania Colston.
