The United States Woodlands scholarship program's pageant is Feb. 16-18 in Ozark, Alabama.
The 2017-2018 Miss Florida Woodlands Queens who will take their titles to the 2018 competition are Princess Cora Williams; Petite Miss Kadance Fredericksen; Teen Miss and 2017 Teen Miss Tri-State Woodlands Riley Herrington; Miss Mia Bennett; and Junior Miss Peyton Owens of Milton.
The Florida Woodlands program director is Paula Stokes-Kelley. National directors are Kay Stone and Carol Walker.
Cora Williams, Santa Rosa Beach, is the daughter of Dan and Gina Williams.
Kadance Fredericksen, Crestview, is the daughter of United States Air Force Master Sergeant Matt and Lisa Fredericksen.
Peyton Owens, Milton, is the daughter of Derrik and Cortney Owens.
Riley Herrington, Freeport, is the daughter of Warren and Sara Herrington.
Mia Bennett, Freeport, is the daughter of Grace and Duncan Crittenden.
The United States Woodlands scholarship program was founded to promote the ecological and economic impact of the South’s woodlands and timberlands industry while encouraging growth in self-esteem, self-confidence, self-awareness, and the importance of quality education in today’s young women.
