PACE — Pace High School softball player Tiffany Graham has signed to play with Coastal Alabama Community College Monroeville.

Here we catch up with the middle infielder’s Pace High coach, Lauren Register, in her third year as Graham’s coach. She will soon be the head coach.

What do you remember about Tiffany when you first saw her play?

She has so much passion about her game. I remember she always wanted to be the player who left the field the dirtiest and would always be the one to stay after practice for just a few more ground balls.

How has she grown as a softball player?

She has grown so much in her mental game. Her focus and mental toughness improved significantly each year. She’s quicker than ever and is a tough competitor in the infield.

What did you think about her selection by Coastal Alabama?

I think it’s a great school. I know Coach Meadows from when I played at [University of West Florida]. She is a great mentor and coach. I think it is a great choice for Tiff to continue her softball career. I’m very proud of her and all she has accomplished. She’s a player any coach would love to have and cannot wait to see her succeed at the next level.
