3 things to do this weekend in Santa Rosa County

1. WATCH A HOLIDAY MOVIE. Big Screen on the Blackwater will kick off 6:30 p.m. Dec. 8 on South Willing Street in downtown Milton. Santa Rosa County Federal Credit Union and The GEO Group present this free outdoor movie series. This week’s movies are "Frosty the Snowman," "Charlie Brown Christmas" and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer."

2. ATTEND A CONCERT. The Imogene Theatre will host Iron Horse Bluegrass 6:30-9 p.m. Dec. 8 at 6866 Caroline St. in Milton. Online pre-sale tickets are $15 at www.theimogenetheatre.com; day-of at-the-door ticket price is $20. Iron Horse was formed in 2000 in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. The band consists of four members including Vance Henry, guitar, lead and tenor vocals; Anthony Richardson, banjo, baritone and bass vocals; Ricky Rogers, bassist, baritone and lead vocals; and Tony Robertson, mandolin, lead and tenor vocals. 

3. TAKE A PICTURE WITH SANTA. Santa Rosa Ranch LLC will have "Rancher Santa" and his exotic deer available for pictures from 12-4 p.m. Dec. 9 and 10 at 4340 Highway 178 in Jay. Additional activities include a snowball blaster, pony rides and playgrounds. Tickets are $10 per person ages 3 and older.
