PENSACOLA — The Florida-Alabama Transportation Planning Organization will have a public meeting 9 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13 in the Sanders Beach-Corinne Jones Resource Center, 913 S. I St., Pensacola.
The Technical Coordinating Committee and Citizens’ Advisory Committee meet Monday, Dec. 11 at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m., respectively, at Pensacola City Hall, 222 W. Main St., in Pensacola.
The TPO will consider:

Amending the Florida-Alabama 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan Needs Plan to include West Cervantes Street from Green Street to "A" Street as a two-lane facility instead of a four-lane facility in Pensacola/Escambia County

Amending the fiscal-year 2018-2022 Transportation Improvement Program to add preliminary engineering and construction phases for the Escambia County Ferry Landing at Quietwater Beach Phase II

Amending the FY 2018-2022 Transportation Improvement Program to add the construction phase for lighting retrofits at signalized intersections on State Road 292 (Barrancas Avenue/North Pace Boulevard), from South Second Street to West Herman Street, in the amount of $865,214

Determine General Planning Consultant Selection Committee members; appointing a Florida-Alabama TPO member and alternate to serve on the Metropolitan Planning Organization Advisory Council for Calendar Year 2018

Appointing a Florida-Alabama Transportation Planning Organization member and alternate to attend the Metropolitan Planning Organization Advisory Council Institute Workshop for Elected Officials in calendar year 2018
