Williams completes basic military training

MILTON — Air Force Airman De'ja A. Williams graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. 

The airman completed eight weeks’ training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. 

Basic training graduates earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Williams is the daughter of Fabian N. Thomas of Navarre and Rosita M. Williams of Fayetteville, N.C., and granddaughter of Barbara Mccall-Rowe of Fayetteville, N.C. 

She graduated in 2013 from Pine Forest High School, Fayetteville, N.C., and earned a bachelor's degree in 2017 from University of North Carolina, Greensboro, N.C.
