Gulf Breeze alums complete basic military training

MILTON — Air Force Airmen Alex A. Petkovic and Julius A. Mantuano graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. 

The airmen completed eight weeks’ training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. 

Basic training graduates earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Petkovic is the son of Deana V. and Matthew J. Petkovic of Gulf Breeze. He is a 2017 graduate of Gulf Breeze High School.

Mantuano is the son of Nicki and Vince Mantuano of Gulf Breeze and brother of Alex Mantuano of Atlanta. He is a 2016 graduate of Gulf Breeze High School.
