MILTON — Martial Arts America has advanced 39 new ranks of black belt, from 1st Degree Juniors up to a 3rd Degree Adult. The ceremony took place Dec. 2 at Skateland of Milton.
The personal investment of time and effort required to achieve the rank of black belt is extensive. Making sacrifices to attend lessons, schedule extra practice time, and simply maintain a healthy lifestyle is a high expectation that this class demonstrated, Owner and Master Steve Butts said.
"We are always ecstatic for these graduations," Butts said. "Not only does it show a deep commitment from these individuals … but it says a lot for the organization to produce such high-level martial artists. I am very proud of my instructors and staff for the constant efforts and high performance."
Moving into the new year, Martial Arts America’s next potential black belt class will undergo their six-month preparation for their graduation ceremony in June.
