PENSACOLA — Sheryl Rehberg has joined CareerSource Escarosa’s board of directors as its new executive director.
Rehberg was selected by a search committee in November, and began her work with the board on Dec. 1. She comes with over 10 years’ experience in workforce board leadership, plus prior experience in executive leadership in the non-profit sector, including services to children and families in collaboration with both public and private sector partners.
Her experience includes serving as executive director of CareerSource North Florida, and leading a community collaboration based in Southwest Georgia, under the umbrella of the Georgia Family Connection Partnership.
Rehberg earned her degree in Organizational Leadership at LaGrange College in Georgia, and here she will focus on the continued success of CareerSource Escarosa in partnership with local and regional businesses, education and training, and economic development entities.
CareerSource Escarosa is a non-profit organization that supports Escambia and Santa Rosa counties’ workforce needs.
Classified as one of Florida’s 24 Local Workforce Development Boards and a member of the CareerSource Florida Network, it provides employment and training resources for area job seekers and employers.
