Stanley Harper of Milton has been selected to participate in the American Diabetes Association’s 2018 Call To Congress.
Diabetes advocates from all over the country will gather for the March 21-23 event in Washington, D.C. to share their stories and have face-to-face meetings with congressional members or their staffers.
The goal, according to the event’s website, is "to make diabetes a priority in communities across the country."
Harper’s national, state and local advocacy for health care coverage, affordability and research funding earned him the honor to participate in the 2018 event.
This is his third time to be selected for the recognition.
