MILTON — A Milton Council agenda item regarding language changes to the Comprehensive plan sparked a long-standing debate over whether the Florida Department of Transportation should widen Highway 90 through downtown Milton. The plan is FDOT's top option to alleviate current and future traffic congestion in the area.
George Jordan says he conducted a survey of Milton residents in various neighborhoods, people he didn't know, and claims between 50 to 1 and 100 to 1 respondents support widening Highway 90.
