‘Drones in Real Estate’ presentation set for Realtors, developers

PENSACOLA — The Escambia Santa Rosa Real Estate Council wants Realtors to understand the legal aspects they and developers should know when using drones in real estate marketing.

"Drones in Real Estate," a discussion, is set 1:30-4 p.m. Jan. 23 at the Sanders Beach-Corinne Jones Resource Center, 913 S. I St., Pensacola. Richard J. Henry, a safety team program manager with the Federal Aviation Administration; Michael J. Schofield, Esq., a board-certified aviation attorney with Clark Partington; and Rick Simpson with HoverCheck Drone Imaging will be the experts in attendance.

The event, which helps Realtors and developers learn how drone use can help sell their clients' properties while staying in compliance with the regulations, includes a live drone presentation and is free for Realtors and developers to attend.

The Escambia Santa Rosa Real Estate Council is a bar/trade association for real estate attorneys and is a chapter of the Attorneys' Real Estate Councils of Florida, which represents 22 real estate councils and over 1,000 real estate attorneys across Florida.
