PACE — Jan. 28 is your chance to "Strike Out at Cancer" in the 10th Annual Greater Pensacola United States Bowling Association’s Bowl for the Cure.
You and your friends can put together a team and bowl three games at Oops Alley in Pace with proceeds benefiting the Northwest Florida Susan G. Komen Foundation.
For a minimum donation of $20 per person, bowlers can play in one of two scheduled shifts, 1 p.m. or 3 p.m.
No experience is necessary; house balls and shoes will be available.
Besides three games of bowling, you can also purchase raffle tickets for many specialty-themed baskets along with many other prizes donated to this event.
Even if you do not bowl, you are invited to come and support the Greater Pensacola Bowling Association’s efforts and purchase raffle tickets.
In the first nine years, this event has raised over $38,000 to help in the fight against cancer and in 2018 the association hopes to surpass the $40,000 mark.
Team entry forms are available at Oops Alley in Pace. Contact event director Brenda Gilley, 623-6807, for more information.
