MILTON — According to LifeLock, there were 16.7 million identity theft victims across America that accounted for $16.8-billion stolen in 2017.

Identity theft is just one form of fraud today. One of the biggest targets for fraud are the elderly.

To help educate seniors, The Milton Police Department will discuss senior fraud at the Milton Senior Program’s Lunch and Learn at 11 a.m. Sept. 5  at the Guy Thompson Community Center.

This program, held the first Wednesday of each month, covers a wide variety of topics ranging from health issues, senior safety, and more.

A free lunch is provided and seating is limited, so those interested need to RSVP by Aug. 31. Call 983-5466.
