PACE — A number of veterans want to start an American Legion post in Pace, but they need at least 15 veterans who are not American Legion members.
The American Legion is a fraternal organization that works to ensure veterans get all the benefits promised when they entered the military. They work against Congress and the House of Representatives to keep and expand veterans’ benefits.
All veterans are invited to the post’s activities, but the Legion in Pace requires 15 new members.
