MILTON — Here is a list of scheduled faith-based services and events.

UPCOMING 

FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF PACE:  

  • Saturday, Sept. 1: 10 a.m. back to school bash in the gym; 11 a.m. Megan's Love picnic for the homeless meets in the kitchen.
  • Sunday, Sept. 2: 9 a.m. sunday school: 9:45 a.m. coffee fellowship, gym; 10:10 a.m. worship service
  • Monday, Sept. 3: office closed for Labor Day observance
  • Tuesday, Sept. 4: 10 a.m. staff meeting, 6 p.m. praise band practice, sanctuary; 6:30 p.m. Scratch Ankle Emmaus pot luck and meeting, CCC
  • Wednesday, Sept. 5: 5:30 p.m. fellowship dinner; 6:15 p.m. gym; 5:30 p.m. missions committee meeting during dinner; 6:20 p.m. Bible studies, youth and children activities; 7:15 p.m. choir practice
  • Thursday, Sept. 6: 8 a.m. youth and college meet at Chick-Fil-A, Highway 90 in Milton; 10 a.m. ladies Bible study in choir room; 1 p.m. Christian, faith and hope, CCC
  • Saturday, Sept. 8: 8 a.m. United Methodist men's breakfast, CCC; 11 a.m. Megan's Love, church kitchen, preparing a meal to deliver to the homeless

RECURRING 

FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF MILTON: Worship services are 9 a.m. Sundays, followed by a coffee social at 10 a.m. and Sunday school at 10:30 a.m. at 5203 Elmira St., Milton. FPC Milton's Open Hearts Ministry, a Bible study group for adults with special needs, meets 6 p.m. Wednesdays.

FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF MILTON: 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. regular Sunday worship services

DESTINY BIBLE CHURCH: Worship service is 10 a.m. Sundays. Wednesday’s Reflect, Share, Study is 7 p.m. at 4867 W. Spencer Field Road, Pace.

PLEASANT GROVE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH: Events include 10 a.m. Sunday school, 11 a.m. worship service, 6 p.m. men’s and women’s studies and 7 p.m. worship service. Wednesday night Building Tomorrow’s Church meetings are at 7 p.m. The church is located at 11130 Highway 87 N., Milton.

MILTON FIRST ASSEMBLY OF GOD: Worship 10:30 a.m. Sundays and 7 p.m. Wednesdays at 6163 Dogwood Drive, Milton. Details: 623-2854.

BAGDAD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH: 8:30 a.m. holy communion and contemporary worship service, 10 a.m. traditional worship service at 4540 Forsyth St., Bagdad. The message for this Sunday will be "Love Song."
