Jazzercise fitness center opens in Pace

A Jazzercise Pop UP Starter and Dance Mixx class is available, free of charge, 4 p.m. Feb. 15 at 3721 Highway 90 in Pace. The 15-minute starter session will include basic dance steps. A 55-minute dance, cardio and strength class will follow.

PACE ─ Jazzercise Inc. has opened a fitness center at 3721 Highway 90 in Pace.

Jazzercise is a pulse-pounding, bass-dropping fitness program. Customers reportedly can burn up to 800 calories in one 60-minute class. Class formats to choose from include Strike, Fusion, Core, Strength and Dance Mixx.

"Jazzercise has become so popular in Pace and Milton, we saw the opportunity to open our own facility," instructor Dana A. Boyd said. "Now we can offer our students a new facility with new accommodations and convenient class times."

Refreshments will be served after the class. Bring a mat, water, a hand towel and hand weights if you have some.
