Navarre concert series seeks more bands

NAVARRE — The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce's Tunes By The Dunes Committee will be meeting soon to finalize plans for this year's free summer concert series. The Committee seeks more bands to perform.

Each week features a different genre of music ranging from jazz, reggae, southern rock, country, oldies and much more.  The summer-long series will take place at the Sand Crab Pavilion on Navarre Beach. Performances run from 7-9 p.m. starting May 31 and continue each Thursday through August 30.  The series is free to the public, made possible by local business sponsorships and food and beverage purchases made on-site.

To have a band considered for the 2018 Tunes By The Dunes free summer concert season, the Committee requests the following be sent no later than March 12: 

●  A recent sample of the band's music preferably through ReverbNation, YouTube, a CD or DVD

●  A brief band bio

●  Dates available

●  Examples of previous gigs and venues played

●  An electronic promotional photograph is helpful, but not required
