The coach for the West Boys Team will be West Florida Tech Head Coach David Flanders. They will practice at 4 p.m. Feb. 26 and 27 at Longleaf Elementary.
The coach for the East Boys Team will be Pace High School Head Coach Charlie Griffith. They will practice at 6 p.m. Feb. 26 at Navarre Youth Sports Soccer Fields.
The SUBWAY High school all-Star Series, organized by Pensacola Sports, recognizes senior athletes in volleyball, football, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's basketball, men’s baseball, and women’s softball from Escambia, Santa Rosa, and Okaloosa County. Other sponsors include the Andrew’s Institute, Academy Sports and Outdoors, Escambia County Sheriff's Office, David Bowen Sporting Goods, and COX.
Dates for the remainder of this year's series are:
- Boys and Girls Basketball, March 16 at Pensacola State College
- Boys Baseball and Girls Softball, June 7 at the University of West Florida
Tickets to the SUBWAY High School All-Star Game are $8 at the gate. Attendees who bring a canned good will receive an Academy Sports and Outdoors Coupon. Pensacola Sports is teaming with Manna Food Bank for a canned good drive and encouraging everyone to help families by bringing a canned good item.
Academy Sports + Outdoors will be having a contest for two lucky fans to win up to $100 in Academy gift cards.
