Howard William Jones, 80, of Milton, Florida died October 29, 2018 at his home.
H.W. Jones as he was known was originally from Hancock County, Ky but has lived in Milton, Fl. for 33 years. He enjoyed taking care of his chickens and gardening. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1955 until 1959.
He worked at Gulf Station in Lewisport, KY, the telephone company for Wayne Watts and helped build Hancock Park 1978 to 1984 building houses. In Milton he worked for Top's T.V. & Appliance from 1985 to 1992. He then did appliance work on his own.
He is preceded in death by his father; Daniel Clifton Jones, his mother; Dorothy Louise Jones both of Lewisport, KY, Betty Jo Jones, Norma Jean Arington, Daniel Clifton Jones Jr. and daughter Tammy Jones Cox. H.W.Jones was loved by so many people.
Surviving is his wife of 61 years, Margie Hall Jones of Milton, Florida, son; Ricky Jones of Lewisport, KY, daughter; Susie Jones Taylor (Dennis) of Huntsville, Alabama, son; Howard William (Skip) Jones (Tina) of Robertsdale, Alabama. Grandchildren; Josh Jones (Danielle), Tina Taylor (Ken Shepherd), Drew Basham (Beth), Emilee Basham, Hannah Jones, Brittany Blair, Summer Shepherd, and Robin Jones (Christine). Great Grandchildren; Kaitlyn Jones, Austin Jones, Ryan Jones and Maya Basham.
