Dear editor,
The physical signs of an end time tribulation (a Christian phenomenon) continues as 2018 comes towards an end. Two of the recent mass shootings included the largest killing ever of Jews in American history and the California bar shooting has included some of the same people that had been in another mass shooting only one year before in Las Vegas, Nevada. The incidents are getting closer.
There are two recent wildfires in California, displacing thousands, killing many and even wiping out a city called Paradise, CA, almost as totally as Sodom and Gomorrah of biblical days.
Here in Milton we just dodged the largest Hurricane to hit the Gulf Coast in American history. Michael did hit another location beginning with an M over at Mexico Beach, Florida. Then another massive category 4 hurricane came off the Pacific Ocean and went into Mexico and eventually caused massive flooding in the US and some lives were lost.
Bad news about ‘The Biblical Tribulation’ is that each year gets progressively worse. I’m, of course, not a prophet to say that this is the real Tribulation, but I am suggesting that these physical events have continued to get worse and more severe especially over the last 2 to 3 years. This is the time for a continued Christian wake up call. Being ‘saved’ is the only way off the earth for eternity. And, saved is a commitment to a Christian lifestyle and not some aha moment. You’ll know them by their fruits.
But, if this is ‘The Biblical Tribulation’, then why are any Christians still here? If this is not ‘The Tribulation’, but only a practice tribulation (i.e. only a wake up call to get ready), then maybe it can be understood — SO WAKE UP. But, a lot of Christians may have died in all of these recent tragedies. They may have been hoping to have been taken out in a rapture, but they weren’t. What do you think is happening?
So, I encourage you to be alert, vigilant, and prepared for what is happening and what will continue to happen as the world around you unfolds.
