NAVARRE — The Raiders started strong with Marlon Courtney III scoring a 3-yard touchdown run and Christopher Williams’ 20-yard touchdown run. It looked as if Navarre's magical run was not going to stop but unlike the past 11 wins, the fourth quarter was not in the cards for them.
Crestview's Jay Stanton could not be stopped. Stanton accounted for five touchdowns and an interception in the game. Crestview quarterback John Gillis connected with the Voisin twins eight different times for 181 yards. Jaden Voisin was on the receiving end of two touchdowns. Dante Wright had an interception and threw a 3-yard touchdown pass to Quinn Caballero.
The Crestview Bulldogs will play the Armwood Hawks (Seffner, FL) this Friday, Nov. 30 at 7:30 p.m. in Tampa, Fla. The winner will go to state.
