MILTON — The city has established the “City of Milton Business Assistance Group” on Facebook to assist the businesses in the city and those that do business in the city.
“We know there are difficult times ahead, but we are with you and prepared to assist you in any way possible,” the city wrote in the post announcing the new Facebook group.
The city’s contact information is in the "About" section on the page.
The page was created to have a unified location where businesses could post about the things they are doing while dealing with the ongoing coronavirus threat. The city will also share information about the City of Milton Business Assistance Group on it’s other platforms, such as the city’s official page and the Bands on the Blackwater website.
The city will post official notices from the city, county, state and federal government on the City of Milton Business Assistance Group page. They will also post links to state and federal resources to assist business on the page.
Reaction to the page has been pretty positive thus far.
