Cultivate friendships this Christmas season

Dear editor,

What blessings Bush 43 and British Brian Mulroney’s eulogies of Pres. Bush 41. The latter ended with "There are wooden ships. There are sailing ships. There are ships that sail the sea, but the best ships are friendships, and may they always be.”

Recalling Proverbs 18:22 "There’s a friend that sticketh closer than a brother." His name is Jesus, the name above all others, friend of sinners Who drew us to Himself as His very own. Loyal friend, Jesus, won’t condemn us or judge us. He’s always with His own.

Christmas season prevails. What better time to share some ways to cultivate friendships:

  1. Acknowledge Jesus as your primary friend. I do!
  2. Thank Him for all the friends with whom you have been blessed.
  3. Forgive friends who haven’t been faithful or loving to you and bless them
  4. Pray and ask the Lord for beautiful and powerful friendships.
  5. Intentionally sow into friendships.

Bush 43’s mother said, "Hatred corrodes the container it’s in." Would to God the rampant hatred across our beloved America were erased and replaced with unconditional love! All things are possible with God! Jesus Christ, Messiah, The Beginning and the End changes hearts, fills them with agape (love) expecting nothing in return.

His grace/mercy should be sought and received by all before it’s too late!

God bless us all as only He can. Maranatha!
