Dear editor,
Philanthropy is defined with a "conventional modern definition is private initiatives, for the public good, focusing on quality of life." What were the first philanthropist organizations? The organized religion of churches by people of religious faith. What evolved is an original, humanistic tradition with a social scientific aspect developed and applied in the late 20th century by governments.
The United Kingdom's Sept. 15, 1992 Black Wednesday was created by progressive, leftist, Democrat George Soros' Quantum Fund's massive selloff of the British Pound earning his hedge fund about $4.3 billion dollars. This created an economic recession of mass business failures, layoffs and a housing crisis within the U.K. It also helped pull the U.K. further into the arms of the 1970-created, and growing in power, European Union's own system of governing with open borders.
The 2006 U.S. jobs, and housing recession gave us Obama's "fundamental change of America."
Is it truly philanthropy to create a situation that allows you to intentionally profit off others' financial suffering? Is it philanthropy to not give that profit directly to others for their quality of life in society, but instead to your own social scientific development of "open borders" with your Open Society Foundation that funds your own directed, and numerous tax-exempt organizations pushing for taxpayer-funded "Social Justice" as your own tax write-off?
Hillary Clinton has her own Soros-type foundation whose donations have dramatically fallen since her election loss for future government power. But both her and John Kerry have come out warning against any more (at this time) European immigration causing a rightwing movement aka the "Brexit" now endangering the progressive's E.U.'s existence. But neither have said the same about the illegal immigration at, or within our borders because the future of the progressive's power in the U.S. hinges on future joblessness to pander taxpayer's dollars on low- or no-income voters allowing a majority mob rule for a progressive world government.
Google "the history of the E.U." and notice their own high court's decisions!
