MILTON — The Milton Garden Club will hold an Arbor Day celebration 10 a.m. to noon Jan. 19 at the Milton Event Center, 5256 Alabama St. This free event will feature a flowering tree giveaway with a demonstration of planting as well as poster contest awards and Critters of the Forest display. Smokey Bear will also make an appearance at 10 a.m.
The club thanks community partners the Florida Department of Forestry, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the Santa Rosa County Master Gardeners, Main Street Milton, Green Up Nursery, Keep Santa Rosa Beautiful, and the Milton Junior Garden Club – Troop 839.
